This rare, hard-to-find Monticello Dinnerware platter featuring a blue laurel wreath was made by Steubenville Pottery (Steubenville, Ohio) exclusively for New York City importer/exporter merchant Herman C. Kupper in the 1940s.

- Simple, classic design
- Sky blue and creamy white colors
- Rope-style design along edge
- Lovely crazing
- Marked on back with the following: Monticello Trademark Dinnerware Made in U.S.A. Pats. Pdg

Measures 13.5" inches (length) x 12.25" inches (width)
{CONDITION}
Crazing on both front and back. There are five small chip marks on the back (most likely caused from wall display hangers). Three of these five chip marks are unseen from the front, the other two are visible along the rim line. Please see photos. Platter is in great, fully functional shape.
{STYLE IDEA}
Platters, in addition to being indispensable serving pieces, also make beautiful wall collages when grouped together with similar colors and patterns.
