Vintage Midcentury Duck Tureen Covered Dish - Handpainted Asian Ceramic Dish

Every kitchen needs a few ducks hanging around. They are symbols of freedom, flexibility, and adaptability and make marvelous good luck totems for all good cooks.

{HISTORY}

So it is no wonder that this vintage midcentury ceramic duck tureen is both a functional kitchen dish and also a stylish art piece for your space. Handpainted in bright colors, the base features a duck pond scene with lily pads, butterflies and tropical green foliage. The lid features a floating duck with highly detailed feathers and wings. Pretty all the way around, it is lovely for entertaining as it makes a great centerpiece and also a functional serving dish. Unmarked as to maker or date of manufacture, we can't pinpoint this dish towards one specific designer but that gives the duck a little air of curiosity.
